Staff news
Farewell to Mrs Everitt (Year 1) and Mrs Finn (Year 3) - a huge thank you for your contributions to St Augustine's and we wish you all the very best for the future. We are delighted that we will continue to have Mrs Everitt as part of our school community as both a volunteer and a Mum and look forward to seeing you on the gate! Thank you for the difference you have made - you will be missed.
We are delighted to announce that we have appointed Sarah Knott as our new Administration Assistant who will be on the gate and in the office on Fridays from January. You may know Mrs Knott as the wife of the Rector for Saltwood and Hythe and comes with a wealth of experience, including 30 years as a police officer. We know you will give her a warm welcome and enjoy getting to know her.
New website
Thank you for the hugely positive feedback about our new website, found at www.staugsutineshythe.org.uk
Content is still being added; all feedback (including information you couldn't easily find) will be enormously appreciated - please drop me a line here.
Take a look at our class pages here. You'll also find our very own game of Guess Who? here - we all had a whale of a time playing together in Friday's assembly, when the children tried to match each staff member with their primary school photo...

Junior Leadership Team
We're very proud of our first ever Year 6 Junior Leadership Team: Holly, Amber, Oscar, Tommy S, Ray and Joey. who have supported school leaders with this term's plans and everything from delivering Christmas cards to sorting the mountain of lost property. Every member of Year 6 will have the opportunity to help lead the school for a term and we are looking forward to working with our new team in Term 3.
