Forest School

Our Forest School offers a unique and immersive learning experience, utilising the natural environment, under the open skies with sea views, to inspire young learners. This outdoor classroom promotes curiosity and exploration, allowing children to engage with the ever-changing landscape as the seasons shift.

In Forest School, creativity and science are intricately and playfully woven into each activity, offering students opportunities to build shelters, use a variety of hand tools, safely create campfires, prepare and cook food over a campfire and nurture allotment vegetation throughout the year. These hands-on experiences help develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, while providing a refreshing, dynamic approach to learning. With several years experience in the field, Forest School Leader Mr.Crump nurtures individual interests in ways that enable and encourage children to bring their ideas to the table and become the master of their own learning journey too.

As the seasons change, so do the lessons, offering new challenges and discoveries; this seasonal adaptability ensures that every session remains engaging and relevant. Extensive outdoor grounds alongside a large designated Forest School area make for a lush and tranquil setting that not only enriches learning but also supports mental well-being by fostering a deep connection with nature.
